The FCSS in Network Security certification validates your ability to design, administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Fortinet network security solutions. This curriculum covers network security infrastructures using advanced Fortinet solutions.
We recommend this certification for cybersecurity professionals who require the expertise needed to design, manage, support, and analyze advanced Fortinet network security solutions.
To achieve this certification, you are required to pass the core exam and one elective exam within two years.

To prepare for the certification exams, we recommend that you take the associated NSE courses.
To obtain the FCSS in Network Security certification, you must pass the core exam and one elective exam no more than two years apart. The certification will be active for two years from the date of the second exam.
If your FCSS in Network Security certification has expired, you must pass one core exam and one elective exam no more than two years apart to earn active status.
If your FCSS in Network Security certification is still active, you can extend its expiration date by two years from the date you complete the following requirement:
If your FCSS in Network Security certification is still active you can extend its expiration date by three years from the date you achieve or recertify the FCX in Cybersecurity certification.
Passing any of the FCSS in Network Security exams recertifies your FCP in Network Security, FCF, and FCA certifications if they are still active.
